Your Program Advisor

One of the things that makes Oregon Music Academy unique is that you are given a dedicated Program Advisor. They are master teachers with many years of experience in the lesson room and the classroom. They are here to help you get the most out of your experience at OMA.

Meeting Your Program Advisor

You’ll meet your Program Advisor when you complete your Music Assessment. This first session is designed to give you the guidance you need to get off to a great start. It’s important that you start with a program and a music teacher that is right for you. Your Program Advisor knows the strengths and personalities of each of the teachers that report to them and can help place you with a teacher that will be a great fit for your needs and goals.

Ongoing Support

As your music teacher’s manager, your Program Advisor meets weekly with teachers to review student progress and adjust your curriculum program to meet your needs. As you make progress at OMA, they’ll be there to cheer you on. If you have any questions or run into any challenges or frustrations, your Program Advisor is there to provide you with the support you need. Whether you’re: looking for a new instrument, seeking additional performing opportunities, having trouble establishing good practice habits – your Program Advisor can help.
