We’re the only academy that requires each instructor to participate in over 100 hours of training and professional development each year. We offer complete musical instruction featuring ear training, note reading, theory, improvisation, and more. Private lessons are tailored to each student’s unique learning style and group activities provide real-life performing experience and social skill building.

We organize 4 optional low pressure recitals as well as additional performing opportunities throughout the year. We have helped many of our students with auditioning and playing in school ensembles, community performing groups, and garage bands. With OMA there is no limit to where your music can take you.

5. Ideal Environment
Our facilities are designed to be the ideal learning environment. Each lesson room has a window for you to observe lessons from our parent lounge. Rooms are large enough for you to sit in on lessons if you like. There are no pets, younger siblings, televisions, or other distractions in the lessons.
6. Easy Scheduling
Scheduling is simple. Just contact us to schedule a time that works in your schedule. For your convenience we offer 4 make up opportunities per year. You can schedule simultaneous or back to back lessons with multiple instructors on multiple instruments. You can start at any time of the year.
7. Convenient Location
Our location is accessible to Tigard, Sherwood, Beaverton, Tualatin, Lake Oswego and SW Portland. We’re within a few blocks of Starbucks, Albertson’s, Safeway and other businesses. We’re also close to several martial arts, dance, and yoga studios so you don’t have to drive as much between activities.
